These terms apply to the current My Cast IQ early-access app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy notice.

Your account and family

Password accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. Provide information you are entitled to use, keep your password and recovery codes private, and use a fishing nickname in shared Battles. A Family account supports up to five places, including the owner, adult members, pending invitations and managed anglers.

A family owner may record catches and photos for managed anglers from the adult’s own account. Managed anglers do not get their own login or independent Battle access in this version. Do not use an adult account or someone else’s age to bypass these limits. Other adult family members keep their own accounts and control their own shared trip summaries.

Your logs, photos and Battles

You keep ownership of what you upload. You allow My Cast IQ to store, process and display that content as needed for the features you choose. Personal account logs are private; selected family summaries and Battle submissions have the audiences described in our Privacy notice. Only upload information and pictures you have permission to use. Do not post other people’s private details or children’s identifying information.

Account creation does not give us permission to use your photos in promotional posts. That requires separate permission. Share invitation links carefully. An authorized viewer may still copy or capture content; we cannot guarantee that screenshots or external copies can be prevented.

The organizer chooses Battle rules and entry settings. Results depend on participant submissions and those rules; they are not an independent certification of a catch. Practice Battles expire and are excluded from permanent fishing history. Closing entries or expiring an invitation does not itself erase a regular Battle’s history.

Early access and cost

There is no cost at this time and no payment details are needed. Founding testers receive free access for as long as the app exists. We ask you to try it and provide honest feedback. Future paid services or professional tournament features would need their own clear offer; they are not being charged through this pilot.

Features may change or be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important photos and records. This version does not collect entry fees, manage prize payments or provide a paid tournament service. Any prizes an organizer describes are the organizer’s responsibility.

Use on the water

You are responsible for safe fishing decisions, permission to fish and applicable fishing rules. Use the app only when safe. Do not misuse accounts, interfere with other anglers, or knowingly submit false real-Battle results.

Recovery, choices and help

Use Forgot password to request a temporary, single-use reset email. A new reset can be requested if you forget your password again. Availability and request limits apply. Optional marketing consent is separate from service messages; creating an account or joining a Battle does not automatically subscribe you to promotions.

For help or an account-deletion request, use Account → Feedback or cbanner@banneralliance.com. A public Delete Account button is not available yet. Deletion can require storage and linked-contact cleanup; limited security, consent, opt-out or deletion records and provider backups may remain as described in our Privacy notice. Deleting one adult’s account does not authorize deleting another adult’s account.

Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit. Updates will identify a new date. Do not send passwords or recovery codes in feedback.
