Your fishing story stays yours.

This notice describes the current My Cast IQ early-access app. Individual and Family password accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. Family owners can record catches for managed family anglers from their own account. Independent child and teen logins, child Battle participation and child sharing approvals are not available in this version.

Private fishing-license copies

Adult account owners can optionally save front and back photos of their own fishing license for easy access. We record the upload date and acknowledgment of the saved-copy notice. License images stay separate from catch photos, public sharing, leaderboards and CRM data. You can view, replace or remove each side from your profile. Internet access and sign-in are required; this is not an offline wallet or a promise that a copy meets local proof requirements. Removal revokes app access first; if storage cleanup is delayed, a private cleanup record is kept for retry. Remove saved license images before account deletion. Do not upload a driver’s license or someone else’s identity document.

What we save

For an adult account we save your first and last name, email, fishing username, account type, salted password hash, terms acknowledgment, marketing choice and account dates. Optional profile answers include fishing methods, water preferences, fishing settings and a general region or country. You can skip those questions and change your answers later. We use access cookies to keep you signed in. Keep your password and recovery codes private.

Your log can contain trips, dates, fish species and measurements, bait or lure, notes, weather, locations you choose to record, and supported photo uploads. Location access requires your browser permission; you can enter a place yourself instead. Do not upload information or photos you do not have permission to use.

Adult account owners can optionally save favorite water names and a current catch location with its reported accuracy. These spots stay private to the recording account and are excluded from public cards, leaderboards and CRM tracking. Location is collected only when you request it. Opening a saved spot in Google Maps sends that location to Google; it is not sent there just by viewing your log. You can remove a spot or favorite without deleting the catch or trip.

Device records and account records

On-device trips and photos stay in that browser until you use a supported account import. They are not automatically backed up merely because you open the site. Anyone using the same browser may be able to see its device log. Browser storage can be cleared by you or by your device.

Eligible records in the current device log can be copied into your signed-in account during account setup or retried from Account. Original device copies remain. A log associated with another account is not silently merged. Earlier pilot device records are kept separate from the fresh version and do not automatically import. Account recovery or deletion does not erase copies still on your devices; clear site data to remove those copies.

Family accounts

A family can have up to five places in this version, including the owner, other adult members, pending invitations and managed family anglers. Adult invitations use a single-use link that expires after 48 hours. Each adult keeps their own account and chooses which trip summaries to share. Shared summaries include fishing nickname, date, state or region, catch count and biggest recorded weight. Exact spots, private notes and catch photos are not included in that shared summary.

The family owner can add a fishing nickname and avatar for a managed angler and select whose fish they are recording on their own trip. The adult takes or uploads the photo and saves the catch from the adult account. The app records who entered it and the selected angler’s fishing name. Managed anglers do not have a separate login, email or phone number. Use a nickname and avoid identifying details. Removing a managed angler prevents new selection; earlier catch attributions remain in the adult’s log.

Family members can see your selected avatar or uploaded profile photo. Replacing an uploaded profile photo changes the family view; the previous file can remain in private account storage. Owners can close invitations or remove members. Adult members can leave without losing their own personal logs; their shared summaries are removed.

Battles and invitations

Adults can share a Battle invitation link or QR code. Anyone you give an invitation to may pass it on, so share carefully. Joining is subject to the account checks, organizer settings and entry window. Battle members can see the fishing nickname, submitted catch information, authorized catch photos and results that the Battle makes available. Personal log entries are not automatically submitted to a Battle.

A Practice Battle is separate from permanent fishing history. Access expires 24 hours after fishing ends, or when its owner deletes or resets it. Cleanup runs in bounded batches when the app performs cleanup actions and may need retrying after a storage failure. There is no idle background timer guaranteeing that expired files disappear immediately. Regular Battle results remain part of app history unless removed; an expired invitation does not itself delete the results.

Photos and public use

Account catch photos use private storage and access checks. An invitation is not permission for us to use your family’s pictures in advertising. You keep ownership of your content. We use it to provide the features you choose; we do not have permission merely from signup to publish it on our promotional social pages. Promotional use requires separate permission. No app can prevent an authorized viewer from taking a screenshot or making a copy.

Adults may explicitly publish selected adult catch photos and a fishing-day summary as a public shared page. A Battle organizer must enable public viewing before participants can publish their own Battle pages. These pages show anonymous standings with the sharing angler highlighted; they do not automatically publish other anglers’ photos, private notes or exact fishing spots. Managed children’s catch photos are excluded from this sharing feature. Anyone with a public link can view it or copy its contents. You can revoke your shared pages, and an organizer can turn off public Battle viewing; downloaded copies and social posts are outside the app’s control.

Contacts, email and marketing

Adult account contact details, signup source or invitation context when recorded, signup intent and consent status can sync to the MyCast GoHighLevel account. Optional fishing preferences are stored in the app; this does not mean every answer is currently synced to the CRM. We do not send passwords, recovery codes, session secrets, fishing logs, catch photos, precise fishing locations or managed child records to that contact system.

Requested password-reset emails are available. Each reset link is temporary and single-use; you can request another later. Email addresses are not independently verified at initial signup in this pilot. Text verification, welcome messages and optional marketing delivery are currently off. Joining a Battle or creating a Family account does not subscribe anyone to marketing. Any optional marketing choice is separate from service messages.

Activity and invitations

We record adult account activity totals, first-use milestones and the last active date to understand use and support the app. Our contact system receives counts of completed fishing trips, battles hosted, joined and completed, referral signups and whether feedback was received. It does not receive the contents of your fishing log or feedback message through this tracking.

Adult members can share a personal invitation link or QR code. The first valid referral link you open can be remembered in a cookie for 30 days on that browser. When you create a new account, we record who referred you; an eligible battle invitation can identify its organizer when no personal referral applies. A referrer sees totals, not your contact details. We count share actions, anonymous browser visits per day, new referred accounts and referred accounts with a completed personal trip or started Battle. A separate random visitor cookie lasts up to 30 days; we save a hashed daily visit key rather than contact details for each visit. Known preview bots are excluded where detectable. Share actions do not prove a social post was published, and visit counts are not a count of unique people. These aggregate counts can sync to our contact system. Clearing cookies or switching devices can change attribution. Existing accounts and repeat logins do not earn new signup credit. These counts do not promise points, payment or prizes.

Questions and feedback form

Adults can send a website inquiry without creating an app account. We save the name, email, optional phone and business name, message, submission time and request to be contacted in the MyCast GoHighLevel CRM with a “mycast homepage lead form” tag. New contacts and contacts with a blank source receive “MyCast Homepage Lead Form” as their source; an existing nonblank source is preserved. Every inquiry note identifies this form. If the email already matches a contact, the inquiry is added as a note without replacing its account fields or marketing choices. Form details are not independently verified. An optional, unchecked text-permission box lets you request texts about that inquiry only. We record that choice, the number, wording version and submission time in the inquiry note. Leaving it unchecked does not give text permission on that submission. No automatic texts are enabled by this form, and existing messaging restrictions are not changed. This does not enroll you in promotional messages. Contact us to correct or delete an inquiry.

Storage, access and deletion

Our hosting and storage providers process app records and private uploads to operate the service; GoHighLevel processes the limited adult contact and requested delivery data described above. Authorized administrators may need to access records to support the app, investigate a problem or complete a deletion. Private storage does not mean the app operator can never access a file.

Online logs are kept to provide your history until removed. You can request help or deletion through Account → Feedback or cbanner@banneralliance.com. A self-service Delete Account button is not available yet. A completed account deletion must cover the app-owned account records, private uploads and its linked MyCast contact, while protecting other adults’ accounts. Access can be revoked before all storage or contact cleanup finishes. Limited security, consent, opt-out and deletion records may be retained; provider backup expiration is separate. We do not promise immediate erasure of every backup or copy.
